Welcome!
I am currently a 5th year PhD student in the Interdisciplinary Graduate Program in Neuroscience at the University of Iowa. I am affiliated with the Narayanan Lab where I am advised by Nandakumar Narayanan, MD, PhD. I received my Bachelor of Science degree in psychology from Lock Haven University in Lock Haven, Pennsylvania and my Master of Science degree in psychology from Drexel University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Over the span of my education, I slowly transitioned into the interdisciplinary field of neuroscience where I now conduct research at the intersection of cognitive and clinical neuroscience. My interests involve identifying distinct brain-behavior relationships of cognitive control and executive function. More specifically, I study the brain origins of cognitive dysfunction in Parkinson's disease. You can read more about my research here. In the future, I would like to expand my expertise in multimodal neuroimaging to study network dynamics underlying cognitive impairments in neurodegenerative diseases.

My goal is to continue research in neurodegenerative disease; I will leverage my expertise in functional neuroimaging and non-invasive brain stimulation to study the relationships between altered functional architecture, neurophysiology, and cognition. I anticipate this work having clinical implications in disease diagnosis and treatment, leading to improved patient outcomes.

In addition to research, I am passionate about mentoring and outreach. In my free time, I am an avid volleyball player, enjoy Pilates and yoga, dining out, watching documentaries/docuseries, listening to audiobooks, and playing with my dog, Piper.
